Beach Walk Cottage
Beach Walk Cottage is in Scarborough. It's a semi-detached house, just one bedroom. It sleeps two people and has a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious.
The main thing is the location. You're in a quiet corner, but you can walk to the North Bay beach and the long promenade in about five minutes. The town centre is also walkable, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes.
You get a completely private, enclosed garden at the side. It's mostly lawn with a patio and some seats. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The stairs inside are quite steep. They're normal for a cottage, but worth mentioning. One bathroom is upstairs.
You can bring one dog. The garden being enclosed is good for that.
Right around the corner is the North Cliff Golf Course. Peasholm Park is a short walk away. They have boats on the lake and sometimes put on model naval battles in summer. The open air theatre is next to the park.
For days out, Whitby and Filey are about half an hour's drive. The North York Moors are close. The Cleveland Way National Trail runs along the coast here, so you can join it easily for walks. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about forty minutes away.
York is just under an hour's drive if you fancied a city trip.
In terms of what's here, it has a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
