Holbeck Apartment is on South Cliff in Scarborough. It's a second floor flat, so there are stairs to deal with. It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right: it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The area is quiet. You're up on the cliffs, so you get a partial view of the sea between the buildings. It's about a ten minute walk down to the beach, and about the same into the town centre. You can hear the seagulls.
Scarborough town has the usual seaside things. There's a good theatre, the Stephen Joseph, if you like that. The castle is up on the headland. It's an English Heritage site. Peasholm Park is nice for a stroll. The seafront promenade is long, good for a walk if the weather's decent.
If you drive, you can get to Whitby or Filey in under half an hour. The North York Moors National Park is about the same distance inland. Dalby Forest is there for cycling or walking. The coast road north towards Bridlington passes the RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a wood burning stove, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is covered in the rent. There's no parking with the apartment, but there's usually on-street parking nearby. No pets.
