European Lodge

European Lodge is on Lady Edith's Holiday Park, just outside Scarborough. It's a static caravan. It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You're allowed to bring one well-behaved dog. The garden is enclosed, which helps with that. There's parking right next to it.

The park itself has a family bar and a play area. You can buy a permit to fish the local mere if that's your thing. It's about three miles from the coast.

Scarborough has two main bays. North Bay is quieter, with beach huts and the Sea Life Centre. South Bay is the classic seaside: arcades, shops, that sort of thing. You can walk between them along the prom. The castle is on the headland in the middle.

Locally, Peasholm Park is nice for a stroll. You can hire boats on the lake. The Alpamare waterpark is there if you want slides and pools. The outdoor theatre gets big names sometimes.

Within half an hour's drive you've got places like Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, and Ravenscar along the coast. For walks, the North York Moors are right there. North York Moors National Park has all the information on trails. National Trust Yorkshire covers some of the coastal properties like Ravenscar.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. It's all on one level, so no stairs.

If you need space for more people, you can book the Red Wood Lodge next door as well.
