Batty Barn is in the middle of nowhere, up near Lind Head. It's part of a working farm. There are fields, and then more fields. It's very quiet.
The barn itself is over two hundred years old. It's been converted, but they kept a lot of the original features. There are beams. It's a detached building, so it's just you.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating downstairs, so it's warm. The stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep, just so you know.
You've got your own little garden patio area with a BBQ. There's parking right outside. We provide all bedding and towels. There's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
The nearest shop and pub are in the village, about three miles away. They're fine. You're here for the space and the walks, really.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. You can walk straight out from the barn. For the coast, Robin Hood's Bay is about a twenty minute drive. Scarborough is half an hour away if you need the seaside stuff.
