Farm View

It’s Farm View, in Cloughton. It’s a lodge, so it’s detached. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It’s all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

You’re on the edge of fields, looking into the woods. There’s a Bronze Age settlement in there, which is interesting if you like that sort of thing. The patio is a decent spot. It's quiet.

The coast is about a mile away. You can walk down to Hayburn Wyke, it’s a pebble beach with a waterfall. Takes about twenty minutes. The Cleveland Way coastal path is just over there too, for longer walks.

There are two pubs within walking distance, one’s about a hundred yards, the other is a bit further. They both do food. The village shop is in the same direction.

Scarborough is about ten minutes’ drive. That’s where the big shops are, the Sea Life Centre, the Open Air Theatre, all that. Robin Hood’s Bay is a lovely spot, about a quarter of an hour away. The North York Moors start not far inland.

Inside, it’s open plan. Kitchen, living area, bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There’s a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside.

You can bring one dog. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. There’s also an electric vehicle charger. You just use it and pay on an honesty basis.
