The Bolt Hole is in Scarborough, on north Marine Road. It's a ground floor flat in a Victorian townhouse.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom really. There's a kingsize bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and it works. The ceilings are high, which is nice.
You're about a five minute walk from the North Bay beach. The castle's up on the headland, just a short walk the other way. It's a good central spot.
Both beaches have dog friendly stretches. A lot of the pubs and cafes here are fine with dogs too.
The galley kitchen's small but it has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's one en-suite shower off the bedroom, and a separate toilet. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and parking.
Scarborough's got the usual seaside stuff. The Alpamare water park is nearby if you want that. For a proper walk, you can pick up the Cleveland Way coastal path. The North York Moors aren't far if you want to get inland.
You can drive up to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay in under half an hour. Filey and Flamborough are about the same to the south. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is good if you like seabirds. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a city day.
