Sea View Sanctuary is in Scarborough, on North Bay. It’s an apartment, first floor. The balcony looks straight down the coast.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and modern. The shower is good.
The beach is about a hundred yards away. It’s the North Bay beach, which is quieter. The South Bay, with the amusements and donkeys, is a walk along the front. There’s a local pub and a kids’ play area nearby.
You can walk to the Sea Life Centre and the castle. Alpamare waterpark is close. The town has the usual seaside things: arcades, the spa, Peasholm Park.
If you want to drive out, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay are about half an hour. The North York Moors are inland, also within half an hour. Filey and Bridlington are a bit further south.
