Squirrel Cottage
Squirrel Cottage is in Seamer village, just outside Scarborough. It's in a quiet spot off the old main street. You can park right outside the door, there's a space about four yards away. You can use the garage if you prefer.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely. The stairs are normal.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. It leads into the living room, which has French doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed. It's a decent size and secure for a dog or kids.
The village has a small supermarket, a post office, and three pubs that do food. There's also a very good fish and chip shop. The beach at Cayton Bay is about four miles away. Scarborough and Filey are both close by car. Scarborough has all the usual seaside things: the Sea Life Centre, an outdoor water park called Alpamare, theatres, and plenty of places to eat.
It's a good base for getting out. The North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest, which has mountain bike trails, are within half an hour. You can get a train from Seamer station straight into York, which is about an hour away.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, a highchair, and a stairgate. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
