Squirrel Cottage
Squirrel Cottage is in Seamer village, on what used to be the main street. It's quiet now. It's one of a row of old cottages.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The stairs are steep, like in most old cottages.
You get the garden to yourselves. It's fully enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog. There's private parking right outside the door, about four yards away. You can use the garage too if you want.
In the village, there are three pubs that do food. There's a small supermarket and a post office. The fish and chip shop here is very popular.
The nearest beach is Cayton Bay. Scarborough and Filey are only a few minutes' drive. Scarborough has the usual seaside things: theatre, Sea Life Centre, and the Alpamare water park.
You're well placed for getting out. The North York Moors National Park isn't far. Dalby Forest is close by if you want to go cycling on the trails. You can get a train from Seamer station straight into York, which is about an hour away.
What's here: parking, enclosed garden, WiFi, TV, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. The front door has step-free access.
