Close Cottage
Close Cottage is in Gristhorpe. It's part of a small group of cottages just outside Filey. You're about a mile from the village pub, and three miles from the shops in Filey itself.
The cottage sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The layout is open plan downstairs.
Outside, there's a patio garden for your cottage and a shared lawn at the front. There's also a shared games room and a play area for kids, which is handy if you've got them. Parking is on site.
Filey Beach is about three miles away. It's a long sandy beach, good for a proper walk. Filey Brigg is the rocky bit at the end. For a bigger day out, the North York Moors are right there. You can drive into the national park in about 20 minutes.
Whitby is about a 30 minute drive up the coast. Scarborough is about 15 minutes the other way. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here if you're planning walks.
Facilities wise, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
