Close Cottage is in Gristhorpe, about a mile from the centre of Filey. It's one of a small group of similar cottages.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan.
Outside, there's a patio and garden for you. There's a shared lawn out the front all the cottages use. There's a games room and a children's play area on site too, which is handy if you've got kids.
Filey beach is about a mile away. It's a long, sandy beach. Filey Brigg is the rocky headland you can walk out to. The town itself is a proper old-fashioned seaside place.
You're close to the North York Moors. It's about a 20-minute drive to get up onto the moors proper for walking. The North York Moors National Park website has good route ideas.
Scarborough is roughly 15 minutes south by car. Whitby is about half an hour north. The National Trust looks after a few spots along this coast if you're a member.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right there. No pets, I'm afraid.
There's a local pub within walking distance, about a mile. The nearest shop is in Filey, three miles away.
