Pine View Cottage

Pine View Cottage is in Primrose Valley. It's part of The Bay holiday village near Filey. It's on the edge of the site, so it's quiet. You look out at a bit of field, not other houses.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and modern. Everything's on one level except for the bedrooms, which are up a flight of stairs. The entrance and the living area are wheelchair accessible.

The living space is open plan. There are french doors to a private patio. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.

On site, there's a big indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. There's also an activities place for things like archery, and an entertainment venue some evenings. The path from the village goes straight down to the beach. It's about a five minute walk. It's a long, sandy beach and it's dog friendly.

Filey is about a mile along the beach if you walk. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. There's a promenade, a few arcades, the usual stuff. For a bigger town, Scarborough is about a fifteen minute drive. They've got the harbour and the Sea Life Centre there.

If you want to get out walking, the Cleveland Way runs along the cliff tops here. The Yorkshire Wolds are inland. About half an hour's drive away you've got Flamborough Head and Bridlington.
