Apple Pip is on the clifftop at Reighton Sands. You can see the beach from Filey all the way along to Bempton Cliffs from here.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It’s a 4 Star place, which means it’s comfortable and well-equipped. One thing to know is the sea-facing side is mostly glass. The views are very good, but if you’re after a cosy, tucked-away cottage feel, it’s not that.
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor: two twins and a double with an en-suite shower. There’s also a main bathroom on that floor. Upstairs is the master bedroom. It has a super kingsize bed and a spa bath facing the sea. There’s a double sofa bed in there too, which can be made up if needed. It opens onto a private balcony.
The garden is enclosed and looks out over the cliffs. You can get down to the beach in a few minutes. The beach itself is sandy and stretches for miles.
For shops and things, Filey is four miles south. Bridlington is about eight miles north. Scarborough is eleven miles south. All are easy by car. There’s a bus stop about 200 yards away if you need it.
Just along the beach is ‘The Bay’ development. It has a swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, and a couple of places to eat.
If you’re into walking, the coastal path is right there. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a fifteen-minute drive. You might see puffins and gannets. The North York Moors National Park is inland for a different kind of day out.
What’s here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
The nearest shop is about 300 yards, the nearest pub is a mile.
