The Bee Happy House
The Bee Happy House is on a quiet street in Filey. It's a semi-detached house, maybe a five minute walk from the beach. You can sleep seven here, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom upstairs and a separate toilet downstairs.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are standard for a house like this. The living room is a good size with a big TV and plenty of seating.
The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's no separate dining room, but there's a table and a breakfast bar, so everyone can sit together. The utility room is handy for coats and boots, and it's where the dog would sleep. We allow one pet.
Outside, there's a small seating area that gets the sun in the afternoon. You also get off-street parking, which is useful in Filey.
The beach is about 400 yards away. Filey's a proper seaside town with fish and chip shops, cafes, and a few pubs. The beach is sandy and long, perfect for a walk. It leads out to Filey Brigg.
Bridlington and Scarborough are along the coast, maybe a twenty minute drive. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is spectacular. It's about ten minutes away by car.
Further inland, the North York Moors National Park is within an hour's drive. York is too, if you fancy a day out in the city.
Included in the price: all bedding and towels, WiFi, and use of the washing machine. We provide a cot and high chair if you need them.
