Pasture House

Pasture House is a farmhouse in Primrose Valley. It's on a working farm but it's detached and private. You look out over fields from the front. We see a lot of hares and deer out there.

It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of the baths is a slipper bath, which people seem to like. It's got a 4 Star rating. There are two living rooms, both with wood burners. We supply the logs.

The garden is enclosed. There's a charcoal BBQ and space to park. You can bring your bikes, there's storage. We don't allow pets.

The beach at Filey is about a mile away. It's a very long, sandy beach. The town itself is quiet. Scarborough and Bridlington are bigger, with harbours. They're about a ten to fifteen minute drive.

If you like birds, the RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is close. You can see puffins on the cliffs. It's good for a walk even if you're not a big birdwatcher.

York is about an hour's drive. Or you can get the train from Scarborough. There are big houses like Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House within half an hour if that's your thing.

In the house you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a mile away. They're both fine. The pub does food.
