Apartment 10
This is Apartment 10 in Filey. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps up to three people, and you can bring one dog. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has what you need, but it's not luxurious.
The main thing is the location. You're about a minute's walk from the beach. It's a really long, sandy beach, five miles of it. The town itself is a proper old-fashioned seaside town, it hasn't changed too much.
The apartment is open plan. There's a sofa bed in the living area for the extra person. One bathroom. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi. We can provide a cot if you need one.
A shop, a pub, and a restaurant are about 200 yards away. The local pub does food.
If you want to explore, Bempton Cliffs are very close. It's an RSPB reserve where you can see the seabirds on the cliffs. RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Bridlington and Scarborough. Whitby is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. The North York Moors Railway starts in Pickering, which is about a 25 minute drive inland. North York Moors Railway.
For walking, you can pick up the Cleveland Way along the coast. The Yorkshire Wolds Way is inland. Cleveland Way.
Further afield, you can get to York or Hull in just over an hour if you fancy a city day.
