This is Apartment 10 in Filey. It's my place. It's a one-bedroom flat, so it sleeps three maximum. You get the whole flat, it's not shared.
The main thing is it's incredibly close to the beach. About a minute's walk, honestly. Filey beach is long and sandy, and it doesn't get as crammed as some of the others nearby. The town itself is quite old-fashioned, not too built up.
The apartment is graded 3 Star. It's clean, it's comfortable, and it's got everything you need. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. The layout is open plan. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Filey Brigg is the rocky point at the end of the bay. Good for a walk. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB reserve, is a short drive north. That's where the seabirds are, if you're into that.
You're well placed for the coast. Scarborough is about 15 minutes south by car. Bridlington is 20 minutes south. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are about 40 minutes north. The North York Moors Railway runs from Pickering to Whitby, through Goathland. It's a nice trip.
If you want a city day, York is just over an hour's drive. Hull is about the same.
There's a local shop and a couple of pubs within a couple of hundred yards. They're fine.
