Sea Views (No. 38)

This is number 38 Sea Views. It's in a cul-de-sac on Knipe Point, just south of Scarborough. The name is accurate, you can see the sea from here.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one on the ground floor. One has a king size bed, the other a double. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath.

The living room has patio doors that look out over the garden and the sea view. There are two big sofas and a TV. The kitchen has what you'll need.

The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area with furniture. Around the side there's another little patio and a shed. The shed has some deckchairs and beach things you can use. There's a hose for washing off sandy boots or bikes. Parking is on the drive.

You can walk down steps from the cliff top to the beach. It's about 500 yards. The Cleveland Way path goes right past the door. That takes you along the coast or inland.

The local shop is about a mile and three quarters away. The nearest pub is a mile and a half. You'll probably want to drive for most things.

Scarborough itself is close. It has the usual seaside things: an open air theatre, Peasholm Park, an aquarium. Filey Beach is a short drive south. For walking, North York Moors National Park is about half an hour inland. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is nearby if you like birds. Flamborough Head is worth a trip to see the lighthouse and cliffs.

Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are provided. It's rated 4 Star. You can bring up to two dogs.
