Mill View House is in Scarborough. It's a terraced house, one of a row. It's on a quiet street but you're only a couple of minutes from the train station.
It sleeps eight people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and practical. There's a games room in the cellar with a pool table and some board games. The stairs down there are fairly steep, just to mention it.
You can walk to both the North and South Bay beaches in under twenty minutes. North Bay is quieter. South Bay is the classic seaside bit with the amusements and donkeys. The promenade links them both and goes right past the castle. You can get an open-top bus along the front if you don't fancy the walk.
Peasholm Park is on the way to the beach. Nice gardens, a lake. They have little boats and pedalos. In the summer they do the model naval battles on the water.
Scarborough has the Spa, the open-air theatre, and the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The train station is very close if you want a day trip to York.
You're well placed for the coast. Filey, Flamborough Head, and Bridlington are a short drive south. The cliff top walks are part of the Cleveland Way. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is about twenty minutes by car, where you can see the puffins and gannets.
For the house: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's on-street parking outside the house.
