The Lookout

The Lookout is an apartment on the third floor in Scarborough. It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. There's one bathroom with a shower.

The main thing about it is the view. Every window looks straight out to sea. You can watch the beach and the waves from the sofa.

It's a five-star place. That means it's well looked after and everything works. It's modern inside. The layout is open plan.

The entrance and the rooms are all on one level, so it's suitable for wheelchairs. The front door is wide enough.

You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi.

Location wise, you're right between North Bay and the town centre. The beach is a few minutes walk downhill. The famous cricket ground is just down the road.

There's a fish and chip shop round the corner that's won awards. A local pub is about a quarter of a mile away.

You can walk to Peasholm Park in about five minutes. They have model boat battles on the lake in summer. The Alpamare waterpark is also a short walk away.

If you drive, you can get to Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay in under half an hour. Filey is about twenty minutes. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is good for seeing seabirds, especially puffins. It's a twenty-five minute drive.

York is less than an hour away by car, or you can get the train from Scarborough station.
