Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is up at Lind Head. It's on our family farm, which is a working farm. The views are out over our fields and towards the moors. It's a two-bedroom bungalow, so it's all on one level.
It's one of a small row of old barns we converted. Beamed ceilings, stone walls, all that. It's a solid, comfortable place. The rating is 4 Star.
You sleep four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms with showers. That's handy. The living space is open plan. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, washing machine, all that stuff. Bedding and towels come with it.
You can bring two dogs. There's a patio with a BBQ and your own parking space right outside.
The location is quiet. The coast path is about a mile's walk across the fields. Scarborough is roughly a 20-25 minute drive. It's got the big beaches, the castle, the Sea Life Centre, all that seaside stuff. For a proper day out walking, the North York Moors are right here. You're in the National Park.
The nearest shop and pub are in Ravenscar, which is about three miles away. There's a village shop and a hotel that does food.
