Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is near Lind Head in North Yorkshire. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's over two hundred years old, built from an old barn. There are beams, so you'll need to watch your head in a couple of places.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and tidy, done up to be warm and comfortable. The living area is open plan.
It's on our working farm. You'll probably see sheep, and us chaps going about. It's rural, so it's quiet. You have your own garden with a patio and a barbecue. There's a kids' play area on site too.
You're in the North York Moors National Park here. The main thing is walking. You can head straight out from the door onto the paths. The coast, including places like Robin Hood's Bay, is about a thirty minute drive.
Scarborough is the nearest proper town, about twenty minutes away by car. It's got the castle, two big beaches, all the usual seaside things. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about three miles from the cottage.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
