Bickley School House

Bickley School House is in Langdale End. It's the old village schoolhouse, detached. It's quiet here, just fields and woods. You get a garden to yourself.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything works.

The location is the main thing. It's on the edge of the North York Moors. You can walk straight out into the woods. Dalby Forest is very close, maybe five minutes by car. Good for bikes, walking, that sort of thing.

Scarborough is about 20 minutes away if you want a beach or the arcades. Whitby is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. That's the proper fishing port with the Abbey. York is under an hour's drive for a day out.

For facilities, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.

The place is part of a pair. There's another single-storey annexe next door if you needed more space for a bigger group. They can be booked together.

It's rural. The nearest proper shop is in Pickering, about eight miles. A couple of pubs are within five miles for a meal.
