Bramble Cottage
Right, Bramble Cottage. It's out on Lind Head in North Yorkshire, on the edge of the moors. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's over two hundred years old, used to be a barn on the farm. The conversion kept the beams and the feel of the place. It's warm, solid. A bit basic in a good way.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and there's one bathroom with a shower. We accept one well-behaved dog. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is on a working farm, so you'll see sheep. It's quiet. You're in the North York Moors National Park, so the walking is right from the door. The coast isn't far either, maybe a twenty minute drive.
The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in the village. They're fine.
Scarborough is the main seaside town, about a half hour drive. It's got two bays, North and South, split by the castle ruins. North Bay has Peasholm Park and the Sea Life Centre. South Bay is the traditional promenade with all the stuff: beach, donkeys, arcades. The town has a theatre and shops.
For facilities: it's all on one level, there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a highchair if you need it. There's a BBQ outside.
