Barnscliff Heights is in Broxa, in the North York Moors. It's a walker's house, really. You're right in the national park.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The entrance is wheelchair accessible but it's an old house, so the stairs inside are normal cottage stairs. A bit steep.
It's a big place. You've got the main living room, a separate snug, and the garden room. Lots of original features. The wood burner works well and makes it cosy. The gardens are good. There's a front lawn and a side garden. The side one is fully enclosed, which is useful for dogs or kids.
You're surrounded by woods and moorland. The wildlife is good here. Dalby Forest is right on your doorstep for walking or cycling. The North York Moors National Park site has all the trail maps.
Scarborough is about seven miles for the beach and everything else. It has the usual seaside things. There's a water park and the Sea Life centre if you need that sort of day. A couple of pubs and a shop are about five miles away in the nearest village.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage.
