Rose Cottage is in Scalby, just outside Scarborough. It's a village cottage with sea views over the fields to the front. It's one of a small group, but you get your own space.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms, all with their own en-suite bathrooms. That's handy if you've got a few of you staying. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-kept and comfortable. The garden out the back is enclosed. It gets the evening sun.
Scalby village has a couple of pubs and a shop. It's about a 15-minute walk from the cottage. Scarborough is three miles down the road if you need anything else. The beach there is sandy.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way footpath is nearby for walking. The Forge Valley woodland walk is about half a mile away.
If you drive for half an hour up the coast you get to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Whitby's got the Abbey and the harbour. For a steam train ride, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway isn't far.
Inside there's a washing machine, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. Pets aren't allowed.
