Tweedmouth Cottage is in Scalby, just north of Scarborough. It's a bungalow, so all on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which should help with the morning queue. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after.
The cottage has an open plan living area with a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Outside there's an enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. You can park on site, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
You can have one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
Scalby has a local pub. Scarborough is about ten minutes away by car. It's got two beaches, North Bay and South Bay, the castle, and the open air theatre. The North York Moors National Park starts not far from here.
The Cleveland Way path runs along the cliffs nearby, good for walking. About 30 minutes north is Whitby. You can get the steam train from there into the moors on the North York Moors Railway. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is about a 40 minute drive.
For planning days out, the National Trust and Welcome to Yorkshire sites are useful.
