Church View Apartment is in Scarborough. Like the name says, it looks out at the church. It's on the first floor of Easby Hall, right opposite the big spa hotel.
It sleeps four. There's one double bed and a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The ceilings are high and the windows are tall, so it feels quite grand inside for an apartment.
You get to it via a flight of steps outside. There's also a lift if you need it. The place is open plan.
For getting about, you don't really need the car. It's two minutes from the cliff top path. From there you can walk down to the beach. North Bay and South Bay are easy to reach on foot. The town centre, with shops and places to eat, is right there.
Scarborough Castle is up on the headland. The National Trust runs it now. For a day out, the North York Moors start about 30 minutes inland. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is just up the coast, maybe twenty minutes by car.
In the apartment there's a dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot and highchair in if you let us know.
No pets, I'm afraid.
For planning walks, the North York Moors National Park website is useful. English Heritage also looks after a few things nearby, like Whitby Abbey.
