Church View Apartment is in Easby Hall on Scarborough's South Cliff. You're in one grand building from the Victorian era. The ceilings are high and the windows are tall. You enter via an external staircase. Then you take the lift or stairs up to the first floor.
It's a one-bedroom apartment that sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom is en suite.
The name is right. You look out at the old St Martin's church next door. You're two minutes from the cliff top. There's a footpath from there down to the beach. You can walk everywhere. Both the North and South Bay are close.
The building is right on the Esplanade. It's directly over the spa hotel. You can get to all the independent shops, cafes and restaurants without moving the car.
Scarborough Castle is up on the headland. The town's got live music at the Open Air Theatre in summer. There's also the Rotunda Museum if you're interested in geology and fossils. Peasholm Park is pleasant for a walk.
If you drive, it's about half an hour to Filey. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is a bit further on. You can see puffins there in season. The North York Moors National Park is inland.
For facilities, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and bedding is included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets.
