4 Eldin Hall Cottages
Number 4 Eldin Hall Cottages is near Scarborough. It’s one of four cottages in what used to be an old waterworks building, so the brickwork is nice. It’s quiet here.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 3 Star, so it’s comfortable and clean but not a show home. You get your own little enclosed decked patio out the back with garden furniture. There’s also a shared garden with a play area for kids if you need that.
The owners live about ten minutes away. They usually come and say hello when you arrive and you can call them if anything comes up.
The beach at Cayton Bay is less than a mile down the lane. You can walk it. Scarborough is a couple of miles up the coast if you want the arcades and that. Filey and Bridlington aren’t far by car either.
The main thing here is the walking. The Cleveland Way path runs right along the cliffs. The views are very good. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is about twenty minutes away if you like seabirds. York is under an hour’s drive, or you can get the train from Scarborough.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
