Willow Cottage
Willow Cottage is in Flixton, near Scarborough. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on one level which is handy. It's next to our house, but you've got your own space and a private garden.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's got underfloor heating from an air source heat pump, so it's warm and eco-friendly. The main living area is open plan, so it's good for everyone being together.
The local pub is about 300 yards away. It does food. The nearest shop is three miles away in Hunmanby, so you'll want to bring your groceries with you.
You're about fifteen minutes' drive from the coast at Filey or Scarborough. Filey beach is good for families. For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds Way path runs south of the village. The North York Moors National Park is about half an hour inland if you fancy heather moorland.
York is under an hour's drive. It's a good day out, with the Minster and the Shambles. You can find information on the main sites at Visit York.
Facilities-wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
