This is Willow Tree Cottage. It's in Foxholes, which is part of the Yorkshire Wolds. It's one of two cottages on the same farm. You get your own garden out the back, it's enclosed, and there's plenty of parking.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well. It feels like a cottage but it's comfortable. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is nice in the evenings. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
It's a quiet, rural spot. You get long views over the fields. You'll probably see hares, maybe deer. The Wolds Way walking route isn't far from here. If you're cycling, there are good routes around too.
The coast is about 20 minutes drive east. That gets you to Bridlington, Filey, or Scarborough. Bridlington's got a proper old-fashioned seaside vibe with a harbour. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is out that way, where you can see puffins. Flamborough Head is good for a walk.
York is under an hour's drive if you want a city day. The Minster is there, and the shops. Back here, the nearest shop is about two miles away. The closest pub is four miles.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's bike storage if you need it. No pets, sorry.
