The Linden Suite
The Linden Suite is a bungalow on Spring Willows holiday park, just outside Staxton. It's all on one level, with wide doors and a walk-in bath, so it's good for wheelchair access. It sleeps six, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living area for two more if you need it. It's a 4 Star place, so it's nicely done.
The park itself has things to do. There's a heated indoor pool you can book privately, a gym, a sauna, and a hot tub. The bar on site is family and dog friendly, shows sports, serves food, and has a beer garden overlooking the play area.
The location is handy. You're about fifteen minutes from Filey and its long beach. Scarborough, with its two bays and castle, is maybe twenty minutes north. Bridlington and Flamborough Head are to the south, also within half an hour. Bempton Cliffs RSPB is close by if you want to see seabirds.
For a bigger day out, you can drive inland into the North York Moors National Park or to Dalby Forest. The city of York is under an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The bar on site is dog friendly, and a lot of the nearby beaches have dog zones.
