The Linden Suite is on a holiday park in Staxton, which is a quiet sort of place near Filey. It's a bungalow, so there are no stairs at all. Everything's on one floor. The doorways are wide and there's a walk-in bath, so it works well for wheelchairs.
It sleeps six, with two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other has two singles. There's also a sofa bed in the living area for two more people if you need it. The bathroom has that walk-in bath with a shower over it.
It's rated 4 Star. It feels modern and clean. The kitchen is decent for cooking meals, and you can sit at the table after.
The holiday park itself has things to do. There's an indoor swimming pool you can book privately. A gym, a sauna, and a hot tub you can use. The bar serves food and is dog friendly, and they sometimes have entertainment. There's a play area outside.
You can bring two dogs. There's a dog walking trail on the park and through the woods next to it. A lot of the nearby beaches let dogs on, or have sections for them.
For getting out, Filey is about eight miles away. It's a proper old-school seaside town with a long beach. The Cleveland Way path finishes on the cliffs there. To the south, Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB site. You see puffins and all sorts.
Scarborough is about fifteen minutes by car. Two beaches, the castle in the middle, Peasholm Park. Bridlington is also nearby. For a big day out, York is under an hour's drive. It's a historic city with the Minster and the wall.
On the park, you've got parking next to the bungalow. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included.
