Rhodes is one of a group of cottages in Gristhorpe. It's about three miles back from Filey seafront. The cottages share a big front lawn and there's a games room and a play area for kids, which is handy if you've got them.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need but don't expect anything flash. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You've got your own patio with a barbecue. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking right there. Bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
The local pub is a mile away. The nearest shop is in Filey, about three miles. Filey beach is good, a long stretch of sand. Filey Brigg is interesting for a walk, it's a rocky headland.
If you want to explore, the North York Moors are right there. Scarborough is about a 20 minute drive south. Whitby is roughly 40 minutes north, it's a proper old fishing town. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is also worth a trip if you like steam trains.
