This is Hampshire Cottage. It's in Gristhorpe, which is a small village near Filey on the North Yorkshire coast.
It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The important things work.
You're in a little group of cottages. There's a shared lawn out front that everyone uses, and there's a games room and a play area for kids on site too. It's useful if the weather turns.
Filey's about three miles away. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town with a long sandy beach. The beach shelves gently, which is good for kids. There's a big rocky outcrop called Filey Brigg at the end if you like exploring. The town has the usual shops, cafes, and places to eat.
For a bigger day out, Scarborough is about ten minutes south by car. Whitby is further north, maybe 40 minutes. It's a great fishing port with the Abbey and all the Dracula history. The North York Moors National Park starts inland from here. You can drive up into the moors in well under half an hour.
In terms of what's here, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a BBQ. We include the bedding. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, but we don't take pets.
A couple of links if you're planning: the National Trust for the York Moors and Coast has good walking routes, and the Filey tourism site has local event info.
