Hirst House

Hirst House is in Gristhorpe, which is near Filey. It's part of a small group of cottages set around a shared lawn. You get your own garden patio as well. The house looks over fields at the back.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there. The layout is open plan downstairs.

There's a pub about a mile away. It serves food. For shops, you'll need to go into Filey, which is about three miles. The beach is a proper sandy one, about five miles long. Filey Brigg is the rocky bit at the end.

The cottages have a shared games room and a kids' play area. Facilities here include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding is included. There's a highchair if you need one. No pets, sorry.

For days out, the North York Moors are right there for walking. Whitby is about a 25 minute drive up the coast. Scarborough is about 20 minutes in the other direction. Flamingo Land theme park is roughly half an hour away by car.
