Filey Central Two
This is Filey Central Two. It’s a two-bedroom apartment in a residential street near the centre of Filey. You’re about a five-minute walk from the seafront.
It sleeps four. One main bedroom with a kingsize bed, one twin room, and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It was fully refurbished a couple of years ago, so everything is fairly new. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There’s a small seating area out the back that gets the afternoon sun.
A big plus is the off-road parking for two cars. Parking in Filey town centre can be difficult, so having your own space is very useful.
The property has what was the garage converted into a games room. There's a pool table and a dartboard in there.
You're a few minutes' walk from the high street. There's a shop and a decent pub about 170 yards away. The beach is a sandy, traditional sort of beach, and it’s about 500 yards to get onto the sand. From there you can walk for miles.
If you're driving, Flamborough Head and the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs are about 20 minutes away. The cliffs are good for seabird spotting. The Yorkshire Wolds are inland for walking. Bridlington is ten minutes down the coast, Scarborough is about twenty minutes, and Whitby is roughly forty minutes. York is under an hour's drive if you fancy a day out in the city.
For facilities, you get all the basics: WiFi, a TV, parking, bedding and towels included. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
This place can be rented with the apartment next door, called Filey Central One, if you're a larger group.
