West House Farm
West House Farm is a five bedroom farmhouse in Muston. It's a proper old building, from about 1745, so it's Grade II listed. It's been done up to a very good standard inside.
There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms, so it sleeps ten without anyone having to queue. It's a big house, so you get a decent amount of space. It's rated 4 Star.
Outside, there's an enclosed courtyard that was the original farmyard. It's a nice spot to sit out. You can park on site.
The local pub is very close, about 50 yards away, and it does food. The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away. The cottage doesn't accept pets.
For the beach, Filey is a couple of miles down the road. It's a long, sandy beach that's good for families.
In terms of things to do, the Yorkshire Wolds Way runs right through the village if you like walking. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is nearby, where you can see puffins on the cliffs.
Scarborough, Bridlington, and Whitby are all within a half hour drive. York is about an hour away by car, which is a good day out. The North York Moors are also about half an hour inland.
The house has things like a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
