Dotterel Cottage is in Reighton, on the North Yorkshire coast. It's a detached brick cottage, part of a small site. You share the site with a couple of other holiday homes and there's a pub right there, the Dotterel Arms.
It sleeps six, but that's with using the sofa bed in the living room. There are two proper bedrooms, a double and a twin, and one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean and it's been updated recently. The living area is all open plan. Patio doors open out to a small, enclosed pebbled courtyard.
The on-site pub, the Dotterel Arms, does food. Reighton Sands beach is a short drive away. Filey is about three miles south, Bridlington is about six miles south, and Scarborough is about ten miles north.
If you like walking, the cliff tops at RSPB Bempton Cliffs are close by. For a longer day out, the North York Moors National Park is about a 40 minute drive. York is about an hour's drive inland.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
