The Stables is on the edge of Rudston village. It's a brick barn conversion, detached, so it's just you. It sleeps two.
The layout is all on the ground floor. The main room is a living and kitchen space together. It's got a stable door that opens onto the patio. The bedroom is off that, with a king size bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Outside, there's a private patio with seating and a wood-fired hot tub. You'll need to light it yourself, it takes a couple of hours to heat up. There's a bike store if you bring them.
The village has a pub, about a five minute walk. It's a proper local. Rudston itself is quiet, it's mostly fields. There's a bridle path right outside the gate which is good for walks or cycling.
You're about twenty minutes from the coast. Bridlington has a beach and a harbour. For seabirds, the RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is about twenty-five minutes away. The market town of Driffield is ten minutes west, Beverley is about half an hour.
In the other direction, the big stately homes are within reach: Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House. York and Whitby are both under an hour's drive if you fancy a day trip.
The property has a 4 Star rating. It's well equipped. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking on the drive.
