The Bridlington Beach Cabin
The Bridlington Beach Cabin is in Wilsthorpe. It's a holiday park on the coast, about three miles south of Bridlington itself.
It's a modern, single-storey cabin. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both rooms have zip-and-link beds, so you can have them as either super kings or twins. There's one shower room.
The main living area is all open plan. There's a decent-sized kitchen, a table for four, and a sofa area facing the big front window. The view is the selling point. You look right out over the beach and the sea.
The beach is about 40 yards away. It's dog friendly and has awards for being clean. You can walk along the sand into Bridlington if you fancy it, which takes about an hour. The site has a café-bar and a mini market. Next door is Makis Leisure Park, which has more going on.
Bridlington has the usual seaside things. Harbour, fish and chips, a leisure centre. For a good day out, the cliffs at Flamborough are about ten minutes drive north. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs reserve is up there too if you like seabirds.
Further afield, you can get to the North York Moors National Park or York in under an hour. Burton Agnes Hall is a nice stately home about twenty minutes inland.
Facilities are what you'd expect. WiFi, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The decking at the front is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two.
It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable, but it's still a holiday park cabin. It's clean, functional, and the position by the beach is very good.
