Hamilton Lodge is in Barmston, which is on the East Yorkshire coast. It's a detached house that sleeps twelve, split between the main house and an annex. That makes it good for a big family or a group of friends. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and has what you need, but it's not a show home.
There are six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It takes up to six dogs, which is a lot, but the garden is big and enclosed so they can run around. The garden is about an acre and three quarters. At the bottom of it there's a gate onto a public footpath that goes straight down to the beach. The beach is sandy and allows dogs. It's less than five minutes walk.
Inside, the rooms are spacious. There's an open plan kitchen and dining area for everyone to sit together. The main living room is on the ground floor, and there's another sitting room upstairs that opens onto a balcony. The balcony looks out over the fields to the sea. The stairs are fine.
The village has a shop half a mile away. There's a pub about 500 yards from the house that does food. An Italian restaurant is at the top of the village, roughly a mile and a half walk or a short drive.
Bridlington is along the coast. It's a traditional seaside town with a harbour, beach, and a funfair. You can get boat trips from there. Sewerby Hall is on the outskirts and has gardens and a zoo. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is famous for its seabirds. Hornsea Mere is good for water birds.
Further inland, the Yorkshire Wolds are nice for walking or driving through. The market town of Beverley is about a half hour drive, and York is under an hour. Both are worth a visit.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking is on site. There are wood burning stoves in the living rooms.
