Sea Breeze Cottage
Sea Breeze Cottage is in Barmston, right on the East Yorkshire coast. It's an end-of-terrace cottage. You share a terrace with a couple of the neighbours, but it's a nice spot in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and works fine, but it's old. The beams are low in the doorways upstairs, so you need to mind your head.
The bedroom setup is one double room and a second room with a bunk. The bottom bunk is a double, and there's a single on top. It works for a family or two couples who don't mind the odd layout.
The local pub is about 60 yards away. They do food. The village shop is half a mile. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. It's a good, sandy beach for dogs and kids.
Bridlington is six miles south. That's where you'll find supermarkets, more shops, and the leisure centre. Filey is about seven miles north. Hornsea and Skipsea are a short drive up the coast.
If you like walking, the coastal path is right there. Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is close, famous for puffins and gannets. For a day out, Burton Agnes Hall is worth a look, and Sledmere House is about half an hour inland.
The cottage has parking, WiFi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
