West End Farm Lodge

West End Farm Lodge is in Thornholme. It's a big cottage, one of the farm buildings that's been converted. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which helps.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not new. You're on the edge of a working arable farm. The owners breed horses too, they're happy to show you if you ask.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've brought a dog. You can park right there.

Bridlington is about five miles away. That's where the main beach is. The town has a proper long promenade, sandy beaches, and the fishing fleet comes in there. You can buy lobster and crab from the harbour.

For walks, you're well placed. The village is quiet but there are footpaths. Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB reserve about fifteen minutes by car. Flamborough Head is the same sort of distance. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there. The North York Moors National Park and York are both within an hour's drive if you fancy a day out.

There's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half from the cottage. The pub does food.

Inside, it's got what you'd need: a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. It's set up for Christmas if you're booking then.
