Warehouse Number 3

Warehouse Number 3 is in Bridlington. It's an old warehouse, refurbished, on a street in the town centre.

It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One twin bedroom is on the first floor with its own shower room. Up another flight is a double bedroom and another shower room. In between, on a sort of mezzanine level, there's a big sofa bed. It’s a sitting area, not a proper room, but it gives you some extra space. The stairs inside are quite steep, typical for this sort of conversion.

You've got a small kitchenette and a living area together on the first floor. There's a TV, a washing machine, and parking for one car on site. It's rated 4 Star.

You can bring one dog. The place is all on one level once you're inside, but you do have to go up outside stairs to get to the front door.

The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' walk from the seafront, the beach, and the town centre with its shops and pubs. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. There's a funfair and arcades on the front.

Flamborough Head is about ten minutes' drive north. The cliffs and lighthouse are worth seeing. Bempton Cliffs is a bit further. It's an RSPB reserve where you can see seabirds like puffins and gannets.

Filey and Scarborough are along the coast, maybe twenty to thirty minutes by car. Scarborough has the Sea Life centre and Peasholm Park.

For stately homes, Sewerby Hall is in Bridlington, Burton Agnes Hall is about twenty minutes away, and Castle Howard is around forty-five minutes. York is under an hour's drive if you fancy a city day.
