Hygge Lodge is a log cabin near Sewerby Hall, just outside Bridlington. It's on the edge of the golf course, so you've got open space around you. As the name suggests, it's set up to be cosy.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms: a double, a twin, and a bunk room for kids. Two bathrooms, both are shower rooms. It's all on one level and there's a ramp to the side door, so it's accessible. The stairs thing doesn't apply here, it's flat inside.
The living area is open plan. There's a deck that goes around two sides. You can sit out there and look over towards the sea. It's quiet.
The golf club house is a few minutes' walk. They have a restaurant and bar that anyone can use. The views from their veranda are good. You can walk through some woods from the lodge to get to Sewerby Hall itself. The owners give you four free passes for the hall and gardens. There's a zoo there, which kids like.
Bridlington is about three miles south. It's a classic seaside town with a sandy beach, a harbour, and the usual stuff. Flamborough is north, a proper fishing village. The coastal walks from Danes Dyke up to Flamborough Head are excellent. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is a ten-minute drive. It's famous for the seabirds on the cliffs.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
