Hygge Lodge is a log cabin next to the Sewerby Hall grounds. It's on a golf and leisure estate. You look out towards the coast between Danes Dyke and Bempton Cliffs.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms: one double, one twin, and one with children's bunk beds. Two shower rooms. There's no separate toilet, so kids in the bunk room use the en-suite. It's all on the ground floor. There's a ramp to the side for access.
The place is a cabin. It's clean and comfy. It has a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan. There's a TV and a dining table. It works.
Outside, there's a wrap-around deck. You get sun out there. Deer are around the estate sometimes. You can store bikes if you ask first.
A clubhouse with a restaurant and bar is a few minutes' walk away. You don't need to be a member. The bar has a veranda with a sea view. The 18-hole cliff-top golf course is right next to the site and is also open to non-members.
Sewerby Hall is about a ten-minute walk through the woods. It's a Georgian house with gardens and a small zoo. We give you four free passes for it. There's a land train from the hall down to Bridlington beach if you don't want to drive.
Bridlington is south, about three miles. It's a proper seaside town with a sandy beach, harbour, and the Spa theatre. Flamborough is north. The cliff walks from Danes Dyke up to Flamborough Head are very good. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive for birdwatching.
For facilities: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair. No pets.
