Swallow is a cottage near Flamborough village. It’s at the end of a lane, so it's quiet. The views are over fields.
It’s part of an old farm building conversion. You’ll see the original beams and stonework inside. There’s underfloor heating downstairs so it stays warm.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
You get your own bit of garden outside with furniture and a barbecue.
The facilities cover what you’d need: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right there. You can bring up to three dogs.
The local pub that does food is about a five minute walk. The village shop is a mile away.
Flamborough Head is the big attraction here. It's a short drive or a decent walk. The cliff top paths are good for a stroll, with great views. You can watch the boats and sometimes see seals. South Landing and North Landing are the two main beach spots.
For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about five minutes by car. You’ll see puffins and guillemots in season.
Bridlington is ten minutes down the road for a bigger town beach and the harbour. Filey is about twenty minutes drive, Scarborough about half an hour.
If you’re interested in a grand house and gardens, Sewerby Hall is nearby. There are golf clubs at Flamborough and Bridlington if that’s your thing.
