Gull Newk
Gull Newk is in Flamborough. It's a converted barn, so the ceilings are high and you can see the old beams. It keeps warm easily with the underfloor heating.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring one dog. The garden is yours to use.
The main thing is the location. It's up on the headland, about a mile back from the lighthouse. The views are good. On a clear day you can see for miles.
Flamborough Lighthouse is a proper working one. They do tours in the summer. The cliffs here are worth the trip for the seabirds alone, especially if you go north to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. It's one of the biggest colonies in the country. Selwick's Bay is down a chalk path. It's a bit steep, but you get to the beach and rock pools at the bottom.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about three quarters of a mile away in the village. The Flamborough Head Golf Course is close. Bridlington is three miles south for more shops and a bigger beach.
You're well placed for the coast. Filey is about a twenty minute drive north. Scarborough is about half an hour south. The Yorkshire Coast is all decent.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
