Right, so Robin is one of our cottages up at Flamborough. It's a converted farm building at the end of a quiet lane. You get your own bit outside with a table and a barbecue.
Inside, it sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got underfloor heating downstairs, so it's warm. You can see the original beams and stonework. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The stairs are wooden and a bit uneven, like you'd expect in an old building. No two steps are exactly the same. You get used to it.
The local pub and a restaurant are about a five minute walk away. The village shop is a bit further, maybe a mile. The coast is really close. You can walk to Flamborough Head and the lighthouse in no time. The views from the cliffs are something else. You can see seals sometimes.
Bempton Cliffs, where all the seabirds are, is a short drive. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is the place for that. Bridlington is about ten minutes away by car if you need more shops or a proper beach. Filey and Scarborough are a bit further, maybe half an hour.
For things to do, National Trust Yorkshire has places along the coast. Sewerby Hall is near Bridlington if you like that sort of thing.
What's included: all your bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to three dogs.
