Northstead Lodge
Northstead Lodge is in Flamborough, right on the edge of the village. It's a detached house. It sleeps ten, has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The house looks out over fields. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs and kids. There's a patio, an orchard, and a summer house. You get plenty of parking.
Inside, the kitchen is big with a range cooker and a Belfast sink. There's a breakfast bar and a seating area. The dining room has exposed beams. The main living room has a Smart TV with Netflix and Disney Plus.
There's a ground floor bedroom with a super king-size bed that can be split into twins. That's useful if stairs are a problem. That room has its own wet room shower.
The pool is indoors, private, and leads off the kitchen. There's a shower right there for before you swim. The sun room has bifold doors out to the garden, a bar with optics, and another TV. It's a good space.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a walk-in dressing room and a little mezzanine seating area with an en-suite. Three other bedrooms are up there, one more with an en-suite. There's also a family bathroom with a free-standing bath and a walk-in shower.
Flamborough village is a short walk. There are a couple of pubs, tea rooms, a butcher, a bakery, and a decent chip shop. The local shop is well stocked.
The coast path is on your doorstep. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is very close. The golf club is just along the road. The beach at South Landing is about a mile.
Within half an hour you can get to Sewerby Hall, Burton Agnes Hall, Danes Dyke, and Bridlington. Filey is a bit further. York and Hull are about an hour's drive.
Facilities: everything on the list is included. The pool is heated. Bedding and towels are provided. We take up to two dogs.
