Peregrine Cottage is in Flamborough. It's a converted barn, one of three in a row. Ours is the end one. It's got a big garden with a lawn and a patio.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs. One of the bathrooms is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable. It's not ultra modern, but it's warm and everything works. The ceilings are high with beams.
You can walk into the village in a few minutes. There's a couple of shops, a fish and chip shop, and a few pubs that do food. The beach is about a ten minute walk. It's a sandy beach, good for kids.
The cliff tops are the main thing here. You can walk for miles. The path goes right past the back of the property, actually. The views out to sea and down to the bay are very good. If you're into birds, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs sanctuary is just along the coast.
Bridlington is about ten minutes away by car. It's a traditional seaside town with a big beach and amusements. Scarborough is about half an hour's drive. It's got a castle, two bays, and a theatre.
For a day out, you can drive to the North York Moors. The steam railway at Pickering is popular. Whitby is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. There's parking for two cars on the drive. We accept up to three well-behaved dogs.
