Sewerby Cottage
Sewerby Cottage is an end-terrace house near Bridlington. It's about three miles from the town centre.
It sleeps five people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there, but it's not a show home. It's practical.
The best bit is the large conservatory on the back. It looks out over the enclosed garden. It gets the sun in the afternoons.
There's a pub about 150 yards away. They do food. A shop is 400 yards in the other direction.
You're really close to Sewerby Hall and its gardens. You can walk there. It's run by the council, so their website has the latest events and prices. They have a land train that goes down to Bridlington seafront, which people like.
Danes Dyke nature reserve is just down the road. Good for walks. The coast path is right there too.
For bigger days out, Flamborough Head is about ten minutes by car. Bempton Cliffs, which is managed by the RSPB, is a bit further for the seabirds. Filey and Scarborough are both within half an hour's drive.
Bridlington itself has the harbour and a leisure centre with a pool. The Spa puts on shows sometimes.
Facilities: parking for one car on the driveway. Washing machine. WiFi. TV. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
