Guillemot Cottage is in Flamborough. It's one of a few converted barns together on a bit of land. You've got off-street parking right outside.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept.
The place is about a ten minute walk from the village centre. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. The nearest bit of beach is about the same distance, maybe a bit less. It's a sandy bay.
The cliffs here are the main thing. You can walk to the headland in twenty minutes from the door. The views are huge. Looking north you can see the RSPB reserve at Bempton. You get a lot of seabirds.
Bridlington is three miles south. It's a traditional seaside town with a long beach and a leisure centre. Scarborough is about sixteen miles north, if you want a bigger day out with more shops and the castle.
For a drive out, the North York Moors are an hour or so away. Whitby is about forty minutes by car. Burton Agnes Hall is a twenty minute drive inland.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and there's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to three dogs.
