Suffolk Punch Cottage
Suffolk Punch Cottage is one of our holiday lets here at Marton Manor farm. It's a farm cottage, so it's in the middle of the fields. There's a main house and then outbuildings we converted. This one sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
The cottage has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not a show home, it's a place to stay. The sofa and chairs are fine for flopping on after a day out. The kitchen has what you need: a dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included.
You're on a working farm. You'll see us going about our business with the animals. We have a farm shop and cafe on site, which is handy. There's also a petting area. Kids like that. There's a shared play area and a big field out front for running around in.
Bridlington is about a mile away. It's a proper seaside town with two beaches and a harbour. You can walk there along the cliff path from Sewerby Hall. The Hall is just around the corner. It's a Georgian house with gardens, and you can get a little land train from there down to the town.
If you drive, you can get to Filey or Scarborough in under half an hour. Flamborough Head is close too. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes away. You can see puffins and other seabirds there. It's worth a look. Further afield, you've got Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House, both about twenty minutes' drive.
The cottage accepts one well-behaved dog. We have a stairgate and a cot available if you need them. Parking is right outside.
