Suffolk Punch Cottage is on our farm just outside Bridlington. It's one of six cottages, all named after horse breeds. It used to be part of the old farm buildings.
It sleeps four in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, which fits. It's clean and comfortable. The place is open plan downstairs.
You're on a working farm. We've got a farm shop and café on site, and a petting area for the kids. There's a shared field out front, about an acre, and a small playground.
Bridlington's about a mile and a half away. It's a proper seaside town with two big beaches and a harbour. The coastal path is good for walks. You're about a mile from the cliff tops at Sewerby. From there, you can get a land train into Bridlington or walk back along the cliffs. Sewerby Hall is right there too.
If you drive north, you've got Flamborough Head and RSPB Bempton Cliffs. You can see puffins there in season. Filey and Scarborough are within half an hour.
Inland, the North York Moors are about a 30 minute drive. Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are other big stately homes nearby.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. We include bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The local pub is about a ten minute walk away.
