Seagulls Chalet 5

Seagulls Chalet 5 is on South Shore Holiday Park in Wilsthorpe. The Park backs right onto the fields, so you get that open view, and you can see a bit of the sea between the other chalets.

It's a detached chalet, so no one is attached to your walls. Sleeps six, but that's with the sofa bed in the living area. There are two proper bedrooms, both doubles, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.

The main thing is the big patio doors in the living room. They face the fields and let in a lot of light. They open onto an enclosed deck with a table and chairs. You can sit out there with a coffee and watch the birds in the field.

Inside, the layout is all open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and sitting area are all in one room. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The decor is a bit quirky, lots of paintings and bright colours.

The holiday park has some open space, tennis courts, and direct access down to South Beach. It's about a five minute walk to the sand. The beach there is good for dogs. You're allowed to bring up to two.

For a pint or a meal, the nearest pub is about a mile's walk down the lane into Wilsthorpe village. Bridlington town centre is about a 20 minute walk along the beach or the promenade. That's where you'll find the harbour, shops, and the promenade.

If you drive, you're in a good spot. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes north. Flamborough Head is fifteen minutes. The Yorkshire Wolds are right behind you for driving or walking. Sewerby Hall is just up the coast. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a day out.

Facilities are what you'd expect for a self-catering place. Washing machine, WiFi, Smart TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
